Email Policy
KinkMate is an adults-only AI companion service. This policy explains when we email users and how recipients stay in control of those messages.

Emails we send
We may email users about KinkMate app updates, new or improved features, and relevant service news. If a user enables proactive character notifications, we may also notify them when one of their AI characters sends a proactive message. We may separately send essential account, security, billing, or service notices when needed to operate the account.
Who receives email
We send optional update and proactive-message emails only to users who voluntarily provide their email address and request or enable those communications. We do not use purchased, rented, or scraped email lists.
Unsubscribe at any time
Users can unsubscribe from optional emails whenever they want by using the unsubscribe link included in each message or by changing their email preferences in KinkMate. We promptly honor unsubscribe requests. Essential account, security, billing, or legal notices may still be sent when required.
Responsible delivery
We monitor email delivery, bounces, and complaints, and suppress addresses that hard-bounce, complain, or unsubscribe. We use reasonable safeguards to prevent unauthorized or misleading email.
Adults-only service
KinkMate is intended only for people aged 18 or older, or the age of majority where they live, whichever is higher. Our emails are connected to this adults-only service, but we aim to keep subject lines and general notification content discreet.
